Holey Moley!

Whilst out walking Toby the other morning I was intrigued to come across this string of moles, hung out on a farmers fence. I'm told that it's the custom for the mole hunter to string them up in order for the farmer to see that his work is being done. If anyone can con confirm or deny I'd be interested to know.

Welcome to the BeanPhoto shop, come on in...

I've just added a new page to the BeanPhoto website, a Shop! At the moment there are just a few examples of images to browse from, my Small World series of works that place miniature figures on the pages of books or photographs and are then re-photographed, and some other personal work. Have a look, with each image you have the option of buying in various formats, postcard, greetings card, matted print, framed print, and various other wall art options. In time I shall add some other works, including wedding and portrait photos. Just imagine, your favourite wedding photo as a thank you card to send to your guests or as a beautifully framed print on your wall. Just let me know which picture you'd like adding to the shop and I'll do the rest, then you just choose how you want it... as a card, a canvas, or whatever! Take a look, I think you'll like it.

The Wedding of Danielle & Martin

Danielle and Martin married on what was probably a typically drizzly British February afternoon. Despite the weather however, the happy couple brought a lot of smiles and laughter to the day. I was accompanied again by Dave as second shooter and we started the day photographing Danielle and her bridesmaids as they got prepared, before heading off to Springfield House in Pilling, Lancs to catch Martin and guests. Springfield House is a lovely out of the way English Country Hotel, perfect for the small number of guests present, and with some lovely features. Here's a few of my faves from the day...

Mr Vikki's

I was asked to take a few product shots this week for a web makeover for Mr Vikki's who make the MOST fabulous curry pastes and chutneys I have ever tasted. Their Chilli Jam is a knockout, and I suggest you all get yourselves on down to Leaf and Bean Pantry on Meeting Houyse Lane in Lancaster to get some NOW!
