Archie's official birthday sitting

My youngest, Archie, turned 14 this week. Unlike his elder brother Stan he is not so fond of having his picture taken, but was happy to let me do some today to mark his birthday. Love you Archie x.

NICE Bar & Restaurant (reprise)

I was back shooting some promo shots for the NICE Bar and Restaurant at The Storey, in Lancaster last weekend. A great young singer/sonwriter was entertaining in the bar whilst restaurant goers were entertained every 30 mins with short readings of love poetry (it was Valentines Day after all) by Litfest.

The Wedding of Angela & Alan

Angela and Alan were married at the ever-lovely Ashton Memorial on Saturday and were blessed with some of the best weather we have seen all winter. Ok so we had a short spell of quite thick fog on the drive from The Ashton to Garstang Country House Hotel, but otherwise, the sun shone beautifully. Angela and Alan were simply a great couple to work with, and I was joined again for the day by Dave as second shooter, who is accompanying me for some wedding experience and doing a great job.
Here's a few of my faves from the first look through... and you can see the whole gallery here (password hint: surname).
Update: I just received this lovely email from Angela and Alan, who are still away honeymooning in Mexico, but obviously couldn't resist checking their gallery...
"WOW!!  We absolutely love all the photos, thank you so much for capturing our wonderful day so well! We cannot wait to look at them all properly when we get back and are looking forward to choosing which ones we will have in our photobook."

'Appy Birthday Ade

My big brother Adrian turns 50 today! Happy Birthday Ade! To celebrate here's an old shot of dad's that I recently colorized in photoshop showing me as the 'Dirty old man' and Ade as 'Arold.

Small World #7

Small World #7
