Street photography now project #5

Instruction #5 in the Street Photography Now project that I've been enjoying so much, reads...
"get lost in a thicket of signs and structures" - Wolfgang Zurborn
And my response, not really a strong picture, but can there be anywhere else in the world with a witch on a broomstick sign?!

Zoo Cafe Portrait Shoot

I've been a little busy with this, all this week, so a bit behind in sharing Anna & Darren's recent portrait shoot. Anna & Darren picked a new spot for me, the rather quirky Zoo Cafe on Heysham's Half Moon Beach. But it proved a fun location with some great views and their dog Oscar certainly enjoyed his beach romp!

Alyson & Adrians vintage Underley Grange wedding

This most recent wedding of the year was quite a short one for me, but a real delight! Underley Grange, near Kendal was a new venue for me, and a beautiful one too. The sun came out after days of rain and poor visibility.
After a few shots around the venue, of Alyson and Adrian getting ready along with son Calum, we all boarded the gorgeous 1948 AEC Regal vintage bus (a former star of Heartbeat!) for a fab, but bumpy ride to the very pretty Kendal Unitarian Chapel, hidden just off the high street.
After the service it was pretty much straight back onto the bus for the ride back to Underley Grange, some formal and informal groups, and then off back home. Alyson and Adrian could not have been more relaxed, and little Calum (and 'his girls') was a real hoot! Here's some faves...

Michelle & P.D.'s Bartle Hall Wedding

Michelle and Peter-Daniel (PD for short) married at Bartle Hall, fast becoming one of my fave wedding venues, though the low light in the ceremony room, made for some tricky exposures. The weather was mostly good, just a few spots of rain, but enough for me to bring out a few rainy day toys to play with. Michelle and PD were great fun and up for whatever I threw at them! Cheers guys! Here's a few faves.
