Emma & Joe's Morecambe Wedding

Emma & Joe are a great couple and I had such a fab time shooting their beautiful day last weekend.

The day began with the bride's preprations at her parents home in Lancaster. From there we went on to two of my absolute fave venues - St. Peter's Church in Heysham village is one of the oldest churches in Europe and is special to Joe in particular as his family once owned land in the area.

The view across Morecambe bay from St. Peter's must be one of the best views from any church in the country. Following the service, the reception was held at the glorious Midland Hotel on Morecambe's seafront - a beautiful art deco hotel with amazing things to offer to photographers, both in it's interior and exterior. Can't wait to get back there and shoot again!

The beautiful bouquet and flowers were once again by Catherine at Wedding Flowers by Catherine, and thanks also to Wedding co-ordinator Vicky at The Midland for being so brilliantly organised with everything.

If you're family, friend or guest and would like to see the entire gallery, you can find it here (but you'll need to get the password off Emma or Joe).

Itsy Bitsy Vintage

Recently I've been doing some rather enjoyable promotional shots for Mrs Beanphoto, who is setting up a new business to run alongside her massage therapy business. Itsy Bitsy Vintage is Carol Bean and local artist Carole Hunt who have plans to combine vintage china hire for weddings, parties etc with fascinator making and fine art, all with some delicious retro styling. I set about first to shoot the vintage china, which is just all so pretty and lovely. We added some cupcakes from the Yummy Cupcake Co. and a few props of our own to show them off to their best. They won't be launching till the summer, but you can make early enquiries via their website.

Next time I'll show you some of the photos we we styled around Carole's gorgeous art works.
